Ullersunds Fisknät takes over Blekinge Fishing Equipment

From August 1, 2024, Blekinge Fiskredskap is part of Ullersunds Fisknät AB. Joachim will be accepting orders as usual via phone, email and in the store, but the seller is Ullersunds Fisknät AB.

This is what Tobias, CEO of Ullersunds Fisknät, says about the merger:

"The reasons for the acquisition are many, but the most important is that through the merger we will have greater opportunities to broaden our operations, with the stated goal of becoming a total supplier of seaworthy fishing nets, cages, materials for net and net manufacturing, protective clothing, ropes and lines, etc.

Through the acquisition, we will have the opportunity to recruit more employees for our production, which will mean shorter lead times on net orders and also give us the opportunity to have a wider range of assembled nets in stock.

Joachim is approaching a point where he sees the end of his career and is keen that his family business will live on in the same fine spirit as it has for so many years. Joachim will continue to work in the current premises in Nättraby, Blekinge but now under the flag of Ullersunds fisknät. This is to ensure that the business continues as usual. He has invaluable expertise and we will ensure that this is passed on peacefully before it is time for him to retire.

Our absolute ambition and belief is that we will continue to deliver the same fine service and products that Joachim has done for so many years.
